Remote Pilot Licence (RPL) — Coming Soon

CARDA is currently in the process of obtaining DGCA RPTO (Remote Pilot Training Organisation) approval. Once approved, we will launch India's most hands-on RPTO programme in Coimbatore — structured for maximum flying hours, small batch sizes, and real field readiness. Register your interest below and be the first to know when enrolments open.

Trusted Software. Real Aerospace Workflows

Design in the same environment used by aerospace and defense manufacturers worldwide.

CATIA V5/V6

Aerospace-grade 3D CAD used by Boeing, Airbus and Dassault for advanced UAV design.

SOLIDWORKS 2024

Industry-standard parametric modeling for mechanical UAV frames and assemblies.

SOLIDWORKS Simulation

FEA, stress and modal analysis to validate real drone structures before flight.

What the DGCA Remote Pilot Licence Means

The DGCA Remote Pilot Licence (RPL) is the government-issued certification required to legally fly drones commercially in India under the Drone Rules, 2021. It is the formal qualification for operating Small Category drones (250g–25kg) for agriculture, survey, inspection, aerial photography, and other commercial applications. Without an RPL, commercial drone operations are not legal in India. With an RPL from a DGCA-approved RPTO, you are a fully licensed remote pilot — recognised anywhere in the country.

What the CARDA RPTO Programme Will Include

✦ 5-day intensive training per DGCA-mandated curriculum
✦ Classroom theory — air navigation, drone law, meteorology, risk management
✦ Simulator training — foundational flight familiarisation
✦ Extensive hands-on flying — take-off, hover, manoeuvring, precision landing
✦ Digital Sky Portal registration and UTM (UAS Traffic Management) orientation
✦ DGCA exam preparation and evaluation support
